The sea weeds sway
In giggling waters
Splashing night and day.
They often have dreams
That whisper praise
To an unseen being.
The trees steal a song
That bounce off leaves
Tracing melodies along.
The light they let in-
Photosynthesizing
Shed cheer to the
Sun waking lazily with the wind.
The smallest plants
And the flying birds
Dance along to the chant –
Batting wings to the herds.
The smallest living fern
Peaking up from the earth
Softly offers a ballad,
To the flies and the mammals.
The classical forest chorus
Can be heard with yearning hearts
If only we can join the tune
And feel nature’s power surround us.
